Consultation has concluded
Mosman Council is in the preliminary stages of preparing a new Plan of Management for public land at Rosherville Reserve and Chinamans Beach. The study area includes the existing parkland, foreshore, playground, picnic facilities, walking paths, amenities buildings and other key features.
A new Rosherville Reserve and Chinamans Beach Plan of Management is required to meet the legislative requirements of the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and Local Government Act 1993. It will guide the sustainable management of Rosherville Reserve and Chinamans Beach into the future by establishing a management framework to meet recreational needs of the community.
The draft Plan of Management is being prepared with the input of the community to identify what is valued, what needs improvements and how the Reserve should be managed to maximise the community's enjoyment of the Reserve.
To inform the development of the new draft Rosherville Reserve and Chinamans Beach Plan of Management we invite you to share your feedback on what is important to you about Rosherville and Chinamans Beach, how you use these areas and opportunities for improvement.

At the end of the consultation period, all submissions received will be reviewed and considered in the drafting of the Rosherville Reserve and Chinamans Beach Plan of Management.
The draft Plan of Management will then be referred to a Council meeting with a view for Council to review the Plan and, subject to any amendments, approve it being placed on public exhibition for 42 days.
