Mosman Council is in the preliminary stages of preparing a new Plan of Management for public land at Mosman Park. The study area includes the existing Allan Border Oval, Allan Border Pavilion, Mosman War Memorial, playground, walking paths, surrounding parkland and other key features.
A new Mosman Park Plan of Management is required to meet the legislative requirements of the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and Local Government Act 1993. It will guide the sustainable management of Mosman Park into the future by establishing a management framework to meet the recreational needs of the community.
The draft Plan of Management is being prepared with the input of the community to identify what is valued, what needs improvements and how the Park should be managed to maximise the community's enjoyment of the area.
