Council’s draft Policies for the Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Mayor and Councillors; and General Manager have been reviewed and are on public exhibition.
Council is required to adopt a Policy on Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities to Mayor and Councillors within the first 12 months of each term of Council. The Mayor and Councillor Policy has been reviewed together with the General Manager Policy and following the conclusion of the exhibition period, a further report shall be submitted to Council with details of any submissions received for its determination.
On 3 December 2024 Council approved draft Policies for exhibition. Details are in the attached resolution, report and marked-up draft Policies.
Exhibition closes on 14 March 2025.
