Consultation has concluded

Mosman Council gives notice that it proposes to enter a voluntary planning agreement (VPA) under Part 7 Division 7.1 Subdivision 2 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 with oOh! Media Pty Ltd (oOh! ) under which oOh! is required to pay monetary contributions to be used or applied for public purposes.

The proposed VPA concerns a development application of oOh! to undertake upgrade works for the Bridgepoint footbridge and display outdoor advertising signage on the eastern and western sides of the footbridge and its subsequent modification to allow digital advertising (modification application 8.2009.343.4).

The monetary contributions will be applied to public domain commercial infrastructure improvements, parking technology and road and footpath infrastructure.

This planning agreement is intended to encompass an earlier agreement made between the parties in 2012 and upon the commencement of this planning agreement the 2012 planning agreement will therefore be revoked.

The draft replacement VPA is available for inspection via the link on this page

Comments will be received up to 16 August 2019.
