Mosman Council has prepared the draft Balmoral Reserves Plan of Management for public land at Balmoral that will guide the area’s future use and management. The study area includes the foreshore and adjoining areas, Rocky Point Island, Balmoral Park, Lawry Plunkett Reserve, Hunter Park and Wyargine Point.
A new Plan of Management is required to meet the legislative requirements of the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and Local Government Act 1993. It will provide a framework for the sustainable management of the Balmoral Reserves that ensures the recreational needs of the community are met.
