Review of Code of Meeting Practice - Webcasting

Consultation has concluded

Council is proposing to amend its Code of Meeting Practice to facilitate live webcasting of Council meetings. The Code has been amended with the addition of new Clause 91 and alteration to Schedule 1 to facilitate the proposal. The Code has also been amended with minor updates and corrections.

The draft Code of Meeting Practice is on public exhibition with marked-up and final versions of the amended Code available for review. The documents are available for review online here or at the Civic Centre and Library.

It is anticipated a report will be submitted to the Council meeting scheduled for 6 September 2016 to consider submissions and adoption of the draft Code and other issues related to the webcasting proposal.
